Remedial English (0130099) 3 credit hours
This is an integrated-skills course for students who do not pass EPT, and is designed to develop their language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing .
A variety of topics, teaching materials, and activities keep the students interested and motivated.
English Skills I( 0130101) 3 credit hours
This course focuses on refining students' communication skills. It introduces them to more advanced English structures, functions, and vocabulary. It also provides them with extensive training both in reading and listening comprehension.
English Skills II (0130102) (3 credit hours)
This is a continuation of English skills I with emphasis on continued improvement of general English skills and critical skills within the context of reading and writing skills development. Students are expected to read, understand and analyze original texts in a wide range of topics. They are also expected to write well-organized paragraphs and short essays.
English Skills III (0130103) (3 credit hours)
English skill 103 is an advanced intermediate course. It focuses on developing listening, reading, speaking and writing skills through an integrated approach. It aims at providing students with the tools to be effective communicators in English.
French Language Skills I (0140101) (3 credit hours)
This course introduces students to the basic skills of French. The teaching material provides guided learning and usage of vocabulary, basic grammatical structures, short reading passages, and short listening exercises.
French Language Skills II ( 0140102) ( 3 credit hours)
This course builds on and complements the work covered in French I and expands the activities and material to include longer reading passages. Students are also trained in writing short paragraphs about topics of general interest. In both FLS I and FLSII using the language lab for aural-oral and other relevant activities gives direct support to the teaching- learning process.
Italian Language Skills I (0140104) (3 credit hours)
The course is offered for students with no knowledge of Italian . It aims at the development of the skills for basic communicative interaction by teaching practical phonetics, grammar, vocabulary and culture related to daily life and familiar situations . Listening activities and conversation comprise the course's core activities.

This course introduces students to the basic language skills of Hebrew with emphasis on structure and vocabulary in the context of short reading passages followed by relevant exercises.
