The Department was founded in 2005 / 2006 and includes a number of highly qualified and experienced teaching faculty and supporting technical staff. The academic program, which totals 141 credit hours, includes university, college, and departmental compulsory and elective courses. They cover a wide variety of fields such as interior design studios, history and theory, technical drawing, free-hand drawing, digital design and drawing, color theory, ergonomics, materials, furniture, and technical services, etc.
The library includes a large number of references, recent books, and periodicals covering interior design. The program was accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in 2006 / 2007. The Department aims to provide the student with the best education and all the necessary knowledge and creative design skills required to master the profession.
