Welcome to the Accounting Department at Philadelphia University. We are committed to maintaining our heritage of academic quality while providing our graduates with the skills they need to succeed in the ever-changing accounting climate. It has a growing reputation for courses at the interface of information technology within business and accounting.
The Department offers a full range of courses which emphasize all issues related to employment in the accounting profession; great emphasis is also placed on the acquisition of skills (generic and specific) with the aim of maximizing employability.
We are increasing the emphasis on areas such as auditing; taxation, financial analysis, information systems, management and policy. We believe these changes will provide our students with the opportunity to gain meaningful work experience prior to graduation.
The Department employs highly qualified academic staff who focus on teamwork, technology and case studies in enhancing students' learning.
