About department

The Department of Animation and Multimedia was established at the beginning of the academic year 2021/2022 and includes a group of specialized, qualified and highly experienced faculty members as well as a number of laboratories supervisors.   

The study plan includes (135) credit hours distributed between the requirements of the university, faculty and compulsory and elective department courses, covering the materials of the history of animation and the foundations of design, theories and design of computers, the processing of images, animation, audio and video, user interface design, digital games and other support materials.

The department building has a number of classrooms, ceremonies, computer laboratories and a production studio. The university library contains a large number of references, books and periodicals for this discipline. The specialization was adopted by the Higher Education Institutions Accreditation Authority and ensured its quality in 2021/2022 at the beginning of the first semester.   

The department seeks to provide the student with all the necessary knowledge, experience and design skills in order to practice his/her work in the local market at the highest professional and technical levels.
