Requirements and conditions for admission to Philadelphia University

🎓 Holders of the General Secondary School Certificate

The applicant must hold the Jordanian General Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent.

Adherence to the minimum grade requirements as determined by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education.

It is required that the average grade is not less than (60%) for Jordanians and (50%) for international students.

Compliance with secondary school streams and admission criteria as specified by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education.

🔗 Bridging Students

Jordanian Students

Jordanian students can be admitted to Philadelphia University provided that their GPA in Comprehensive Exam must not be less than (68%) for all majors except for Pharmacy & Engineering must be (70%) and above and the GSE stream must be Scientific for Pharmacy.

Jordanian students holding the non-Jordanian Diploma must submit the qualifying exam for bridging purposes held by Al-Balqa' Applied University provided that the score is (68%) and above for all majors and (70%) and above for Pharmacy & Engineering and the GSE stream must be Scientific for Pharmacy.

International Students

International students holding Jordanian Diploma can be admitted to Philadelphia University provided that their GPA in Comprehensive Exam must not be less than (63%) for all majors except for Pharmacy & Engineering must be (65%) and above and the GSE stream must be Scientific for Pharmacy.

International students holding non-Jordanian Diploma can be admitted to Philadelphia University provided that their GSE stream must be Scientific for Pharmacy.

⚠️

Jordanian students admitted to Pharmacy major in Intermediate Diploma Program starting from the first semester 2022/2023 - inside or outside Jordan - are not allowed to enroll in Bachelor's program in Pharmacy.

The maximum transferred hours for three-year Diploma system are (64) credits and (48) credits for two-year Diploma system provided that the content of transferred courses must be at least (80%) similar.

🔄 Transferred Students

Students can transfer from other universities provided that:

The regularity and accreditation of their previous universities.

Transfer hours must not exceed (50%) of the study plan.

The content of transferred courses must be at least (80%) similar.

4

The students are not dismissed for disciplinary reasons.
